Neem Oil for babies

Can neem oil be used on babies? My son has cradle cap and I have heard that neem oil can help.

Obviously a different issue, but the answer is the same.

Yes, you can use neem oil on babies and I would not recommend using pure oil.

For cradle cap possible uses would be to either dilute the neem oil in a carrier oil or to add it to a shampoo.

Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. In either case you need to be careful to not worsen the condition by irritating the skin further.

Another option you may want to look into is neem leaf paste or extract. (But neem oil is usually a lot easier to get hold of).
